This original 1960s home was sturdy but small, lacking a generous family room and room to grow. Working with an architect, Fix & Build added an extension into the under-utilised front garden creating a new main bedroom, additional study room/kids play room and his/her bathroom. A generous garage below complete with a workshop and internal stairs into 1st floor of the house mean easy access to the home, regardless of the weather. The rest of the home was also renovated to a high standard to create an environment that is light, functional and a pleasure to live in. A retaining wall on the front boundary has created a safe, level area for children to play within sight of the new family room. A new stairway to the front door has also created a more attractive entrance to this transformed family home.
